Your spreadsheet,just as it is.
Many venues already have their items in a spreadsheet: from the till, from stock management, from Excel. The columns are called Item desc., Price incl. VAT or Dept, and no import tool in the world knows those exact names. MenuStudio doesn't need to. It recognises the common names by itself and maps the rest at the press of a button.
Free plan with no credit card, no end date. No minimum term.
Your spreadsheet turns into this
The same items as in your till list, only readable, with categories and on every phone.
Also with oat milk.

Whatever your columns are called
Item, Description, Product name: that's all the name. Price, Gross price, Selling price: that's the price. MenuStudio recognises the common names without help.
The rest at the press of a button
If a column is unclear, one button maps the columns using AI. It's in every plan: once a month on Gratis, twenty times on the paid plans.
You see the mapping first
Which column goes where is shown before the import. You change what doesn't fit. Only then is anything imported.
Into your product catalogue
The rows land in your venue's catalogue. You build your menus from it, and when a price changes in the catalogue, every menu follows.
And back out again
You can download your catalogue as a CSV at any time. Your data stays yours, even if you move somewhere else one day.
With a template if you're starting fresh
No list yet? Download the template, fill it in and upload it again. Allergens go in a column of their own.
Your columns, our fields
This is what a list from a till looks like, and this is how it arrives in MenuStudio. MenuStudio recognises the common names itself, and a button maps the rest. You see the mapping before anything is created.

How to get there
Upload the file
Under Products, tap CSV and choose the file. Save Excel files as CSV first.
Check the mapping
Name, description, price, group, allergens: each column sits next to its field. If something's wrong, pick another one or let the button do the mapping.
Import
One button creates the products. Then you build your menus from them, by hand or with Mino.
From catalogue to menu
Your 200 items are now in the catalogue. You don't have to click through them one by one to pick what goes on the summer menu.
„A summer menu with all the cold drinks and the cheesecake.“
Mino only uses what you’ve entered yourself. He never makes up prices, and your menu only goes live once you approve it.

Frequently asked questions
Which columns does my file need?
At least a name and a price. Description, group and allergens are welcome but not required. What the columns are called doesn't matter.
What exactly does the mapping button do?
It reads the header row and a few sample rows and suggests which column belongs to which field. You see the suggestion before anything is created. It doesn't change the content of your products.
Can I use an Excel file?
Yes, if you save it as a CSV in Excel or Numbers. The semicolon separator that German Excel likes to use is no problem.
Is there a limit?
On the Gratis plan, the catalogue holds up to 10 products and AI mapping is available once a month. From Starter, the number of products is unlimited and the mapping button works twenty times a month.
CSV, Excel or an export from your till: in the end it's a spreadsheet with your items.

Goes well with
Try it with your own menu.
The Gratis plan costs nothing, with no credit card and no end date. If it works for you, photos and your own design start at 9,90 € a month.
