Photo in,menu out.
Most venues already have a menu: printed, as a PDF from the printer or as a notice on the door. Typing it out takes an evening and leads to mistakes. Here you photograph the pages with your phone or choose the file, and MenuStudio reads what's on it. Nothing is saved until you've checked the list.
Free plan with no credit card, no end date. No minimum term.
Paper turns into this
The same dishes as on the printed menu, except now you change a price in seconds instead of reprinting.
Tomato, basil, garlic.
VeganVeal, tuna cream, capers.
Guanciale, egg, pecorino.
Tomato, chilli, garlic.
VeganBeef, béchamel, parmesan.
House recipe.
With berries.
Take a photo with your phone
Up to six pages at once, straight from the camera. The image is resized and converted to greyscale first, which makes small print easier to read.
Or the PDF from your printer
The file your menu was printed from works just as well. You don't need to convert it into images first.
You see everything before it's saved
What was read is shown as a list: every category, every dish, every price. You fix what's wrong, delete what shouldn't be on the menu, and only the button below creates it.
Categories stay categories
Whatever is listed under Starters on paper ends up in the Starters category. You don't have to sort the dishes yourself.
Nothing is made up
It reads what's on the menu: name, description, price, category. Allergens are rarely on a paper menu, so they aren't guessed. You add them yourself for each dish afterwards.
From the Pro plan
The reading is done by AI and uses points from your monthly allowance. Pro includes 300 points a month, Business 900. If you'd rather start without AI, create the menu by hand or upload a spreadsheet.
How to get there
Choose a photo or file
Under Menus, tap Photo or PDF, then photograph the pages or select the file.
Check the list
After a few seconds you'll see what was read. Prices, names, special characters: everything can be edited.
Create and design
One button creates the categories and dishes. Then you choose a design and photos, and the menu is ready for its QR code.
And then the next menu
Once your dishes are in, Mino builds every further menu from them. The lunch menu, the promotion menu, the menu for the terrace.
„A lunch menu with all the pasta dishes.“
Mino only uses what you’ve entered yourself. He never makes up prices, and your menu only goes live once you approve it.

Frequently asked questions
How good does the photo need to be?
Straight from above, with no shadow over the text and the whole page in the frame. Handwriting and very ornate fonts are harder to read. Anything it can't read reliably, you'll see in the list and can correct there.
Are allergens imported too?
No. Name, description, price and category are imported. We don't guess allergens, they're too important for that. You tick them for each dish afterwards, from the 14 main allergens under EU food information rules (LMIV) and three additional labels.
What happens to photos of my dishes on the menu?
Dish images aren't cut out. You upload photos for each dish yourself; the Gratis plan doesn't include photos.
Does the import cost extra?
No, it uses the AI points included every month in Pro and Business. Gratis and Starter don't include photo import; there you add dishes by hand or by CSV, and the columns of your own list are still matched automatically.
Photo, scan or PDF: it always means the menu you already have and don't want to type out again.

Goes well with
Try it with your own menu.
The Gratis plan costs nothing, with no credit card and no end date. If it works for you, photos and your own design start at 9,90 € a month.
