Tick allergens,don't copy them out.
If you sell non-prepacked food, you have to provide information on the 14 major allergens. On paper, that means footnotes, codes and a key on the last page. On a digital menu, you tick them for each dish, and guests see them with a symbol and name right on the dish, in their language.
Free plan with no credit card, no end date. No minimum term.
On the dish, not on page four
Guests see at a glance what's vegan, and with one tap which allergens it contains.
Hummus, sesame, herbs.
VeganEgg, Parmesan, croutons.
Fish, mustard sauce, potatoes.
Coconut, coriander, rice.
VeganWith nuts and cream.
VegetarianTwo scoops, fruity.
VeganThe 14 under EU FIC
Gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soya, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin and molluscs. Ticked per dish, maintained once.
Three more details
Alcohol, caffeine and pork. Not allergens under the regulation, but questions guests ask.
Labels such as vegan
Vegan, vegetarian, spicy, popular, new, seasonal: as a small tag on the dish, coloured or plain, to match your design.
Symbols, not footnotes
No searching for the key on the last page. The symbol and its name sit right on the dish, for example milk or nuts.
From a spreadsheet too
If your allergens are already in a list, they come along in their own column with the CSV import. You don't have to open every dish one by one.
Once, in the catalogue
The details belong to the product, not the menu. If the burrata is on three menus, you maintain its allergens once.
How to get there
Open the product
Choose the dish under Products, or fill this in right away when you create it.
Tick
Tap the allergens and labels that apply. You can also use a CSV, in a column of its own.
On every menu
The details appear straight away on every menu the dish is on.
A vegan menu in one sentence
Once your labels are in place, a separate menu for guests who eat vegan takes just one sentence.
„All vegan dishes on a menu of their own.“
Mino only uses what you’ve entered yourself. He never makes up prices, and your menu only goes live once you approve it.

Frequently asked questions
Does MenuStudio detect allergens itself?
No, and that's deliberate. Allergens are too important to guess. Neither the photo import nor Mino adds allergens. You tick them, and you remain responsible for getting them right.
Is the digital menu enough to meet the information requirement?
That depends on how you provide the information and what your federal state requires. Many venues also keep a written overview to hand. If in doubt, ask your local food safety authority. This page is not legal advice.
Can I list additives?
There's no separate field for numbered additives. Many venues put them in the dish description.
Is this in every plan?
Yes, including the Gratis plan.
Allergens, labelling, intolerances: it all means guests know what's in their food.

Goes well with
Try it with your own menu.
The Gratis plan costs nothing, with no credit card and no end date. If it works for you, photos and your own design start at 9,90 € a month.
